Port Dover Summer Festival

August 16th & 17th 2008

Powell Park, Port Dover

Port Dover, on the North Shore of Lake Erie invites everyone to enjoy the many wonderful activities we have to offer.

Situated in a rich rural area of Southern Ontario, you will find charming little shops and boutiques, fabulous restaurants, sandy beaches, and vast lands producing a bounty of diverse agricultural crops. Carolinian forests are unique to this part of Canada because of our moderate climate.

While in Port Dover we invite you to take a leisurely stroll on our fabulous beaches, or catch a professional production at our Lighthouse Festival Theatre.

Our newly refurbished Harbour Museum will take you on a memorable journey through Port Dover’s past and is a perfect spot to watch the colourful fishing boats arrive with the catch of the day.

Please also take some time to visit the Port Dover Harbour Marina which is always happy to accommodate visitors who arrive by boat.

Try your skill at the 18 hole golf course at Lynn Meadows Golf & Country Club, challenging the skill of both pro and novice.

Casting a fishing line off of our fabulous pier is not only a terrific way to catch some famous Lake Erie perch; it is also one of the greatest places in Port Dover to catch a sunset over Lake Erie.
